Word. Clips are where its at. I recently went back to flats and can't stand them now. Too bad I bent my crank pedal threads and can't switch pedals now! Need some new cranks to get my Time pedals back on. I hate hiking in clipless shoes though.

Depending on how bad you 'bent' your threads, you can chase/tap them and it'll be all good. Any bike shop should have the tool to do it.

I stripped a couple threads on my XT's (from flat pedals, ironically) and after I chased them, pedals go in-n-out super smooth.

i'd talk about my experience with clipless pedals but i don't want to discourage anyone. my injury was super pilot error anyway, thoug there's nothing wrong with having to wear an ankle brace for the rest of your life, it makes you look like a badass anyway
