I've long admired the fact that a company like Jamis put out a great handling steel bike. I really didn't agree with the kit, but the pricing was right, and after talking with their people this past season, admire the fact, that in more than one way, my (and probably a few other's) input was listened to.

Horizontal dropouts, removable derailleur hanger tugs, removable cable stops, something
NOT RED and around $100, with a decent kit, that you could build upon. Now, this isn't something you can take out and beat upon (of course I do do that a bit on my Surly), but it has great potential!! Throw some higher level hydros and a better fork on there, and it's one sick possibility for the trails, pump and BMX tracks!!
