What Inactivity...Do I have to post everything?

OK, I should help more in here, but, as lame excuses go, life's happened.

Took a job, eft the job for another job.

Rode my bike, broke my toe badly, tore my knee, and jacked up my fingers.

Basically, I'm getting old(er) and not racing anymore, riding takes precedent over forum time.

There's a daliy, and semi daily ride we do out here, not all dirt, but fun, and plenty of others around, it's just because of the current state of affairs in the EastBayParks, including those in Berkeley, we try to not openly discuss the happenings of those rides.

So, thus, why things have fallen off in here, my bad. (??) :D

So that being said, looks like I might be under the knife soon, so if anybody wants to do a group spin, contact me via pm, and discuss it there.

Depending on my schedule, work/etc, maybe a few nights a week, or days off.

Pics after the events, no problem. :D

You don't need to view this forum as XC geek stuff. Yes, I don't go out to race/jump as much, but this portion was created for the singlespeed discipline.

try telling your friends, family, customers, etc about this site, and this colum, so it'll grow and you'll get more use out of it. :35:

This is what we came home to last time.

Riding Hayward Plunge, Joaquin Miller, Mission Peak, and Coyote the past few days, and all have had either city PD,
or Parks PD with radar out in each place.

Supposedly someone was hit by a cyclist, I don't have the full story yet.

Basically, the fines are/can be pretty hefty, they'll impound your bike if the need/want arises, and if an adult,
the point(s) go on your drivers record, if under 16, can prevent from getting licensed for up to (3?) years.

I havn't been popped in the last couple years, and finally had my points drop off.

~1st was just $250.
~2nd was $430ish, they almost took the bike.
~3rd, well I smartened up, no need to loose my license, and pay impound fees on a $3000 bike, right.

Please keep in mind that we're pretty lucky with our access/support latley, let's try not to blow it. (IMHO)

Thanks for at least reading this far and considering the request.

Ben, pm me your phone number, and I'll call you for the next ride.

I almost went to WaterDog today, but changed my mind, and we're looking for a couple friends to join in after one of the guys gets done w/ tax season.

*They're (my rides) getting shorter as I'm looking at what the orthopedic doc has planned for my foot.
