Specialized BG Ridge Glove

reminding myself to write a review for this product.

I really like the no-frills design and the clean 'mechanic-glove' look of the full-fingered Specialized Ridge BG gloves, which is why I bought them in the first place. They offer a snug and lightweight fit that makes them barely noticeable (which is prolly why i forgot i wore them on aug 28*). The Body Geometry gel insert helps curb wrist/palm numbness slightly, but still succumbs on long rides. There are a few lines of grippy silicone material running horizontally per index & middle finger for keeping on the levers. On the backside of the glove, there is virtually no padding -offering just enough protection from bushing against shrubs and branches. There's not enough cushion to dampen a fall, but enough material to keep you from picking little rocks/dirt out of your hand for days should you fall.

*August 28: Forgot my gloves for a sec at Crystal Springs and when I came back they were gone... some shady peeps be living in the bushes. Watch your stuff.

*Never got blood on them, so I guess they were never meant to be. I hope whoever took them is using them well and often.
