A very distinctive Simtra Psycho was stolen between 12:20 and 5:55 today, August 5, 2009, from De Anza College in Cupertino. The lock was cut.
The bike is orange, with a very white cockpit, orange grips, LOOOONNNNGGG white brake cable, orange pedals, white cranks, an orange chainring, and a orange seat with a white circle-D logo on it.
Serial Number: CSP5071042 This can be located on the bottom bracket of the bike.
00045 This can be located on the headtube of the bike, directly above the lower headset cup.
Unique Identifying Characteristics:
1) Where a normal company decal would be on the headtube, I have replaced with a gray fingerprint sticker.
2) The Stem and Handlebar are both a searing white, with a very old set of orange grips that have worn through in several places.
3) The wheels both sport blue nipples at the end of the spokes.
4) The seat had a discontinued circle- D logo, the D in white and the rest in orange.
5) At the interface between brake lever and brake cable, there is an excessive amount of tape, some of it blue painters tape.
6) The brake cable is excessively long.

Update: just got off the phone with my friend Sid. he said he saw a bike like the one I described in possession of a tall black male at Ranch 99 on Wolfe. He was wearing a hoodie that said "Fremont".
If you see anything resembling the bike, please call (650) 793 6762. I am really shaken up about this. Thank you for looking.
